In “Judge your hood status by what you had to give up in order to get it†news, the big homey T.I. is back at it again, this time he’s defending his decision to make a anti-stop snitching commercial for the Atlanta police department after coming under fire by a few gangsta rappers.

Can’t nobody challenge my integrity…I ain’t told nobody to go and get yourself in trouble and tell on somebody to get yourself out of trouble. I said man, if there’s an old lady walking down the street and you see her getting knocked down and beat up, call somebody and do something about it. I don’t see that as snitching man, I see that as being responsible for your neighborhood. Anybody who disagree, so be it. They can shove it up they a** sideways if they don’t like it. I don’t care.

It takes away from your argument when you take T.I.’s side just because he’s more famous than somebody else, even if he’s right.
With that said, anybody not blinded by fame can see that Tip most likely did that commercial because he didn’t have a choice. Ya’ll know T.I. ain’t about to just come out of nowhere and make a crimestoppers commercial “just because”. But that still don’t mean that nothing good can come of it.
You can talk all you want about how you would handle a particular situation, but you don’t know what you’ll do til it becomes a reality.
Not snitching can do just as much harm as snitching can. The only difference between the two is who gets harmed.

Sasucle, If ya friends anit around and you dont have a gun, then what are you going to use against a criminal with a gun? You retarted so probably a use a stick. Calling them to help somebody who is elderly or disabled or handicapped, is not snitching. I dont call them for myself and I wouldnt call them for anybody else is not apart of these three categories. If somebody elderly got beat-up and robbed, and they laying in the street dying, of course somebody going to call them to come the person. Thats not snitching.

You can tell in the interviews that T.I. is a self-aware, smart guy that is learning from his mistakes and growing from them. And to Sasucule, If their is somebody in your neighborhood thats kidnapping or if theres a pervert thats bothering children, then whoevers doing that need to be shot. Those two things right there, is a violation of public safety. When you speak about the safety of children, its important and needs to be addressed immediately. You know how long it take for the police to get some where. By the time they get there, the criminal is long gone. You are suppose to shoot somebody, trying to hurt a child. Hurting a child like that, is a line a person should never cross. The same rule applies to the elderly, people thats disabled or handicapped. Just think if the crime was being committed on somebody you care about. You would want whoevers around, to act quickly to try and stop the person, if they can. Look I understand not snitching if you and your friends have to sell drugs to feed your kids but there must be a line somewhere when you will actually need the police’s help, like a kid napping or child molester in the neighborhood or something.
