The white rapper and Charles both kinda…sucked. I’m pretty sure both of them had prewritten lines, and the lines they came up with (“do what you do best and roll into a little ball”…and do what? Sonic becomes “invincible that way, btw) was pretty lame. The white boy came off better because he’s emulating Eminem, in which he automatically loses respect for (because your style, flow, and voice shouldn’t be a 100% copy of another popular rapper).
I’m just sayin. I’m not saying I’m the best freestyler of all time, but I’m not giving props to those who really weren’t that great in the first place. Or who was copying another rappers style. And at the end of the day, whether Charles can “freestyle” or not, he’s the one with the record deal, and Mr.Philly ain’t.
So…yea. Props for seeing a cypher happen in good fun, slops for having two somewhat decent rappers saying below average punchlines that didn’t deserve any “oo-OH-oh!”‘s.
