Sadly, I buy and drink that soda from a Cuban restaurant called Papi’s in Atlanta. It belongs in the Jim Crow museum, but the drink is very good…

When I see things like this in today’s world I think; I don’t give a sh*t about it but what do concerns me is.. Niggers/niggas still exist. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!
We should be more concern about freeing our minds. Repeat three time: I am not a nigga.. I am not a nigga.. I am not a nigga.

well in this instance its a little overblown to me. theres a lil white boy on the can too

Aint no problem there. Like Swinton said there’s a white boy on the can too. First black people get mad that there’s not enough black people in advertisements/on TV/etc. Then they get mad when a black person is portrayed on a soda can. God put watermelon on this planet for everyone to enjoy. Black folk make it racist by acting like watermelon was put on this planet for white people to make a mockery of black folk. SMH

@Swagstantine… usually yo, we be on the same page but this time i’m not with you… the point was “is it IS or is it AIN’T” racist; and in this case I believe the lil’ white boy was place on the can so the company could have some leverage to say “Oh no, we’re not racist, see the lil’ white boy is eating it too”. I can’t ride with this one… People know what they’re doing; even if they have to use reverse psychology to do it, people will do ANYTHING to make a dollar… and I believe more white people than blacc people drink it as well just because they secretly find a certain “taboo humor” in purchasing it… juss sayin’ though, I’m no scholar

I dont think its racism. Some over eager sales rep just got too blinded and excited with an idea for watermelon soda. Its Ignorance and a severe lack of common sense but then again, arent those two characteristics symptoms of racism?
