Dear Diary: YouTube Deleted My Account
Dear Diary,
They say the life of every man is a diary in which he means to write one story, and writes another. Today I feel like doing both. But I’m not because he who does not understand my silence will probably not understand my words. But…since my fans and supporters wanna know what happened to my YouTube account, I feel obligated to tell them. Especially since they were the ones who helped me build this thing of ours in the first place.
Here’s the short answer…my account got deleted because of a Terms of Service Violation. 50 million video views, 200 videos, 50,000+ subscribers, 2 years worth of work and more haters than I can shake a stick at. They all gone. Good riddance (In the Jigga Man voice). Now…people wanna know what I’ma do next. Here’s the short answer…get stronger. The world breaks everyone, and afterward, some are strong at the broken places. But they don’t hear me doe.
This experience taught me several things:
1. Because things are the way they are, things will not stay the way they are. Sometimes people change and forget to tell each other. Well I’m telling people right now…I changed. I’m stronger.
2. The hook on Run This Town is my sh*t. First hook – “Feel it coming in the air/hear the screams from everywhere/I’m addicted to the thrill/It’s a dangerous love affair/Can’t be scared when it goes down/Got a problem tell me now/Only thing that’s on my mind/Is who gon’ run this town tonight.” That’s my sh*t. In fact, that’s me. They talking ’bout me. Second hook – “Life’s a game, but it’s not fair, I break the rule’s so I don’t care/So I keep doing my own thing/Walking tall against the rain/Victory’s within in the mile/Almost there don’t give up now//Only thing that’s on my mind/Is who gon’ run this town tonight.” They still talking ’bout me. So guess what I’ma do, keep going. Can’t you see me keeping it moving. Look at my picture again. I’m sure you see my heart.
3. To really enjoy the better things in life, one must first have experienced the things they are better than. Let me tell it, he who has never tasted what is bitter does not know what is sweet. I can taste them both. But that’s just me.
4. If your house is on fire, warm yourself by it. I’m white hot. I got deals on the table. You would be surprised, but you won’t be once I pull the covers off of them.
5. THE JEWELRY REPORT will be back on Monday. I’m just saying.
And now…back to our regularly scheduled programming.
