First…read what Charles Hamilton explained to Bossip as to why he has been committed to the New York Presbyterian Mental Hospital: Basically my stay here[NY Presbyterian Mental Hospital] is like identical to my stay in the industry. As far as being the new guy in here having to deal with politics & people trying to control you. The critics would have to be the doctors and the rounds [medicine guys]. So you can say this is like an experiment to see if the industry is really like an asylum or if I was the one bugging. Some say the Industry is like High School but it’s just like a [mental hospital].

i read what he said and he said something about the music industry being all about making money…you think????
the industry always been like that but just got a LOT worse. you wanna make it, do as you’re told by the guy writing your checks. if you don’t want to be like that then i suppose start looking into a new career. i don’t think you need a mental institution to figure that one out.
Looks like Brotha Charles got adaptive issues, but you can’t try to find physical remedies for spiritual battles. The music industry has flopped and those on the underground ladder felt the pressure the worst. He got a little fame and made a little name now it’s time to find a new lane and steadier incomes to attain.
Trying to play off having hardships to people dealing with they own is like being the only guy at a nudist beach wearing boxers…..we all know why you’re hiding it but nobody would really pay that much attention if you didn’t. Just sayin
