According to the Baltimore Sun, Flav intends to pay students to stay after hours to film his struggle to achieve so as to avoid disruptions during regular school hours, though Clinton Schools Superintendent Deb Olson stated that she wishes Flav to seek a different outlet in contributing to the students education, feeling his presence would have “a substantial disruption to the school day” and could have “an adverse effect on students.”

Flav has already met with the local school superintendent and a member of the school board, and will be speaking before the full Clinton School Board in the coming weeks.

“I want this show to be able to influence people my age, that if you dropped out of high school when you were young it’s never too late to go back to get your diploma,” Flav said.
