Lupe Fiasco Defends Obama Comments
Billboard.com’s The Juice caught up with Lupe after the Chicago rapper called Obama a terrorist only to find out he’s still standing by his statement.

Says Lupe to Billboard:
“I’ve got nothing to clarify. It’s Obama and the U.S. government,” Lupe said, echoing his comments to CBS. “[It's] every president that came before him and every president that comes after him.
“It’s funky because everybody’s pulling soundbites from this one interview that we did, but they don’t talk about anything else from the interview,” he continued. “So it’s really about, ‘What do people want to listen to?’ It’s not what I want to talk about, cause I want to talk about all types of shit… there wasn’t the same reaction about me having a book club… about me trying to promote literacy in a country with 50 million functioning illiterates walking around, because we have a failed and flawed education system.”
I see said the blind man. And now…
This is EbenGregory.com…Culture. News. Truth. and a place where the opinions of Lupe are represented.

The United States has the most expensive, technologically advanced, geographically aggresive, global military force in the history of the world. There has not been one year since the end of World War 2 that armed U.S. troops haven’t been actively engaged in combat on foriegn soil (pick a year and google will find the conflict) The U.S. does not represent the majority of the population, but is always fighting, and never in its own back yard… so regardless of what you consider right or wrong, many people all over the world are “terrified” by its actions. so why is it so hard to see why he would call the Commander in Chief a terrorist… that is like saying a soldier isn’t a killer just because he wears a uniform when he kills.
The U.S. government has also in the same time frame spent exponentially more money than any other entity in the history of the world. But the Head of State and Voice of the People won’t get any credit for that.
My thing is, he say he ain’t vote, but he wants to push policies and agendas like literacy (with which candidate?) and he believes the country he’s loyal to is a terrorist organization, but still chooses to live here. And the fact that we’re commenting on his irrelevant bathroom conversation is because our free enterprise system and freedom of speech American rights allowed him to become a superstar.
Like I said before and I’ll say it again……….In Afghanistan he and his family would already be dead….
u r an idiot
Hey, at least he stands for what he believes *Kanye shrug*
