Beyonce’s HBO documentary ‘Life is But a Dream’ broke viewing records for HBO but didn’t quite do the same for Oprah’s OWN Network.
Reports Rhymes With Snitch:
Beyonce’s HBO documentary was the most watched doc in HBO history, pulling in 1.8 million viewers, edging out Spike Lee’s documentary about Hurricane Katrina, ‘When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts’ which drew 1.7 million viewers.
However, Beyonce’s interview with Oprah on OWN pulled only 1.3 million viewers in comparison to Rihanna’s Next Chapter interview which pulled in over 2 million viewers.
The Oprah’s Next Chapter viewing record is currently held by Bobbi Kristina, who pulled in more than 3 million viewers for her interview, the first after the death of her mother Whitney Houston.
