Another rapper has lost his life because of a gun violence. Slim Dunkin, a 24-year-old MC who was featured heavily on Waka Flocka Flame’s mixtapes, was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, December 16 after being gunned down at a recording studio. Maj. Keith Meadows of the Atlanta Police Department confirmed to The Associated Press that the Brick Squad Monopoly rapper was fatally shot in the chest at around 5:30 P.M. after he got involved in a verbal altercation with another individual. “It appears the victim was scheduled to do a photo shoot,” he first stated.

Police are still searching for the murder weapon and possible suspects.

Maj. Keith Meadows said police have not been able to identify the shooter. He said 13 to 20 people were in the small office-type building in southeast Atlanta at the time of the shooting, which took place around 5:30 p.m., but they were in different places. “We’ve questioned a number of witnesses inside the recording studio at this time.” Meadows said. Police have not recovered the handgun that was used. Investigators remained at the scene late Friday evening.

Emily (pictured below left) quickly does the math in her head and comes to the conclusion that she was pregnant with Fabo’s son when he was laying up with Kimbella.

But Emily is way too emotional to throw down on national TV. So up steps Chrissy Lampkin, rapper Jim Jones’ very outspoken fiancee, who is personally offended by Kimbella’s barely there “jean panties”.

A Gwinnett county man is in jail after police say he robbed a QT gas station right in front of a Snellville police officer. The police officer was standing just feet behind the man as he demanded money from the cashier, as shown on the store’s surveillance video. Police said Stephen Daniel asked the officer for a ride to Lawrenceville and the officer said he couldn’t do it and that Daniel had to use the pay phone outside to call someone else to give him a ride. The video shows after speaking with someone on the phone for a few minutes, Daniel hung up and then police said he walked into the convenience store off Scenic Highway demanding cash.

The conversation can be heard in the video:

Daniel: “Yo. Give me all the money in the (expletive) register. Right now! Give me all the money in the (expletive) register.

Cashier: “Why?”

Daniel: “Because I said so.”

What the video doesn’t show is Lt. B.W. Brown standing behind Daniels, watching him. “I know what was going on, but he’s not dumb enough to do this with me standing right behind him,” Brown said to Channel 2’s Craig Lucie. The video shows that the store manager is smiling throughout the whole robbery.

“The manager was laughing at the time he was putting the money in the bag because he was looking at me over the guy who was robbing him,” said Brown. As soon as Daniels turned around, he saw the officer. “I’m standing right behind him. I got a hold of him by the shoulder and placed him under arrest for robbery. It was a comedy type thing,” Brown told Lucie.

Brown said everyone in the store started laughing. “In 34 years, I have never had one happen the way this one did,” Brown added.

Daniel did get his ride to Lawrenceville … to the Gwinnett County Detention Center. That’s where he remains on a robbery by fear charge.

Waka Flocka was ruthlessly coldcocked Thursday night — after a massive brawl broke out at the rapper’s charity bowling event in Atlanta.

According to sources, the fight was over money — the guy who throws the first punch is one of Waka’s former proteges. He accused Waka of owing him cash.

Waka’s rep tells TMZ, the rapper was trying to do a good thing for his community and got ambushed. Although Waka chases the guy down and his posse beats the dude up, Waka’s rep says he was just defending himself.

Cops were called to the scene — but no arrests were made.

That is until the community imploded on itself. Shortly after Deb Antney, CEO of Mizay Entertainment announced that her company would donate ten homes to single and grandparent headed households, shared the microphone with fellow Philanthropist and entertainment mogul Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and a round of applause was given to her son Waka Flocka for pledging to donate $50 per strike during the evenings festivities, chaos was abound.

To be clear, while taking one of many photos with a fan during the evening, an artist who had previously been under his helm approached him with malice, words were said and our client was forced to defend himself. The aftermath, though dramatic, left no one seriously injured and saw the majority of the crowd dispersed without incident.

Stanley Lafleur, 24, has been called “lazy,” a “leech” and the epitome of someone pimping the system since his video went viral.

In the video, Lafleur, in a leather jacket and Yankee cap, struts from a bodega to a fast-food joint swiping a government-issued Electronic Benefit Transfer card to pay for mostly candy and chips.

Rapping to a heavy beat, he even tries to used the EBT card to buy pot and beer.

“I’m never going hungry, swiping all day y’all. Sandwiches, chips, a big box of Oreos. Cereal, Kix, but I couldn’t buy a 40, dog?” he waxes poetically, dancing through store aisles and up to the counter at a McDonald’s.

“I wish I could buy some weed with my EBT but the drug dealer fronted me,” raps Lafleur.

The video went viral and left right-wing bloggers peeved after conservative Matt Drudge posted it earlier this week on his website, Drudgereport.com.

The Conservative TreeHouse blog accused Lafleur of “celebrating the pure coolness of any and all things gotten for nothing.”

The Conservativepost.com blog wrote the “video glorifies welfare.” Columnist Ben Shapiro, on his popular conservative website Town Hall, described Lafleur as “the sort of leech who is bankrupting our society.”

But Lafleur said people are misinterpreting his video, which has garnered nearly 280,000 views.

“I couldn’t believe people are hating on me like I’m rubbing the benefit card in the face of taxpayers. They don’t get it,” Lafleur told the Daily News. “My video is a parody.”

Sounding like a conservative himself, Lafleur explained the video is a reflection of EBT abuses he’s witnessed.

“That’s the whole point of my video and that’s what I’m trying to stop. There’s a lot of people who really need help but aren’t getting it while too many are abusing the system,” said the self-described “Mr. EBT.”

Jermaine Gomes, who produced the video, said he was shocked by the uproar.

“It’s an overnight sensation,” said Gomes, who appeared with Lafleur on FOX Business Network this week in an attempt to clear the air.

“It’s just amazing that some people don’t get it,” Gomes said. “They think it’s seriously some dumb guy just using his EBT card.”

Davis, 42, died at 11:08 p.m. ET, according to a Georgia Department of Corrections official. His death by lethal injection came after an approximately four-hour delay for legal review.

Eyewitnesses described the mood in the execution chamber as “somber” as Davis was wheeled in strapped to a gurney. He declared his innocence a final time in the 1989 murder as witnesses and relatives of the victim — off-duty Savannah, Ga., policeman Mark MacPhail — looked on.

“I’d like to address the MacPhail family,” Davis said, according to The Associated Press. “Let you know, despite the situation you are in, I’m not the one who personally killed your son, your father, your brother. I am innocent.” “The incident that happened that night is not my fault,” he added. “I did not have a gun. All I can ask … is that you look deeper into this case so that you really can finally see the truth.

“I ask my family and friends to continue to fight this fight,” he said. “For those about to take my life, God have mercy on your souls. And may God bless your souls.”

Witnesses said Davis’ eyes fluttered as he received his first injection and lost consciousness, and that the entire process of lethal injection lasted about 15 minutes.

“Justice has been served for Officer Mark MacPhail and his family,” state Attorney General Sam Olens said in a statement.

Joan MacPhail-Harris, the widow of Mark MacPhail, told The Associated Press that “it’s a time for healing” now that Davis’ execution has occurred, that she saw “nothing to rejoice” over in Davis’ death and that she was praying for his family.
